Christian Mercier

Originaire de Moncton, Christian Mercier entreprend en 1996 un baccalauréat en arts plastiques à l’Université de Moncton. En 1998, il s’inscrit au Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick en techniques d’animation 2D et 3D. Installé à Montréal en 2001, il y travaille comme illustrateur, cinéaste d’animation et concepteur multimedia. Il collabore à plusieurs projets d’envergure pour les Productions Phare-Est, Ubisoft et Vox Populi. En 2005, il signe avec Stéphanie Leblanc l’illustration de Comptines picotines, rigolotes, ratatouilles. Il a également illustré une série de livres éducatifs : Le cirque farfelu.

Christian Mercier, from Moncton, began his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Moncton in 1996. In 1998, he enrolled at the New Brunswick Community College in 2D and 3D animation techniques. He settled in Montréal in 2001 and works there now as an illustrator, animator, and multimedia designer. He collaborates on many large-scale projects for the Productions Phare-Est, Ubisoft, and Vox Populi. In 2005, he illustrated Comptines picotines, rigolotes, ratatouilles (Amusing, Ridiculous, Tickling Nursery Rhymes) with Stéphanie Leblanc. He has also illustrated a series of educational books: Le Cirque farfelu (The Eccentric Circus).

Danielle Robichaud

Danielle Robichaud est née à Shippagan et a vécu à Moncton avant de s’installer à Montréal. Elle a complété un certificat en rédaction à l’Université de Montréal, tout en travaillant chez un éditeur de livres pour enfants. Son goût pour la poésie et l’imaginaire la mènera naturellement vers le monde de l’écriture pour enfants. Auteure et conceptrice de 19 disques compacts de musique éducative pour enfants parus chez les Productions KIDZUP, elle a signé les textes de quelques 30 disques compacts de chansons éducatives, et elle a publié en 2005 Comptines picotines, rigolotes, ratatouilles, son premier livre de comptines, accompagné d’un disque compact.

Danielle Robichaud was born in Shippagan and lived in Moncton before settling in Montréal. She completed a certificate in writing at the University of Montréal while working at a publishing house for children’s books. Her taste for poetry and the imaginary naturally led her to the world of writing for children. As the author and developer of 19 educational music CDs for children released by KIDZUP Productions, she wrote the lyrics for about 30 educational songs and, in 2005, published Comptines picotines, rigolotes, ratatouilles (Amusing, Ridiculous, Tickling Nursery Rhymes), her first book of nursery rhymes, which is accompanied by a CD.
