Jean-Claude Bauer

Jean-Claude Bauer est né en France. Après avoir étudié pendant cinq ans à l’École des Beaux-Arts de Lille, il entame une carrière d’illustrateur. C’est un éclectique ! Tantôt dessinateur de presse, tantôt illustrateur de livres pour enfants ou dessinateur de bandes dessinées, il navigue au gré des opportunités avec ses inséparables crayons.

Jean-Claude Bauer was born in France. After studying for five years at the École des beaux-arts in Lille, he began his career as an illustrator. He is eclectic! Sometimes a press cartoonist, sometimes a children’s or comic strip illustrator, he followed the path of opportunity with the pencils from which he is inseparable.

François Dimberton a commencé sa carrière au milieu des années 70 comme dessinateur des aventures de Pif le chien. Puis, il a travaillé pour les journaux Spirou, Tintin, Mickey et beaucoup d’autres éditeurs franco-belges de bandes dessinées. Depuis quelques années, il s’est tourné vers l’écriture de scénarios sans pour autant abandonner le dessin. Ras la potiche ! est la première des aventures de Coin-Coin le canard qu’il publie chez Bouton d’or Acadie, en collaboration avec son ami Jean-Claude Bauer.

François Dimberton started his career in the mid-70s as a cartoonist for Les Aventures de Pif le chien (Pif the Dog’s Adventures). He then worked for Spirou, Tintin, and Mickey publications as well as with many other French-Belgian comic book publishers. He has since turned to writing stories without, of course, abandoning drawing. Ras la potiche! (I’ve Had Enough!) is the first book in the series Aventures de Coin-Coin le canard (Adventures of Coin-Coin the Duck) that he has published at Bouton d’or Acadie in collaboration with his friend Jean-Claude Bauer.
