Marie Lafrance

Marie Lafrance a passé sa vie à dessiner des images, d’abord pour éviter de se ronger les ongles, puis pour des magazines, des affiches, des puzzles, des boîtes de petits gâteaux et autres produits. Elle a aussi illustré de nombreux livres éducatifs avant d’émigrer avec joie, depuis des années, vers le livre jeunesse. Elle vit à Montréal avec son mari et trois moteurs de son inspiration, sa fille Béatrice, sa chienne Lélé et son chat Melou.
Marie Lafrance has spent her life drawing, first to stop herself from biting her nails, then for magazines, posters, puzzles, cupcake boxes, and other products. She illustrated numerous educational books before joyfully emigrating to books for youth a number of years ago. She lives in Montréal with her husband and the three driving forces behind her inspiration, her daughter Béatrice, her dog Lélé, and her cat Melou.
