Océanne aimerait bien avoir une piscine, ou voyager en avion comme sa nouvelle amie... Mais les parents d’Océanne sont des agriculteurs qui vendent au marché local. Cela ne rapporte pas gros et demande beaucoup de travail ! La famille prendra tout de même congé pour qu’Océanne revoit son arrière-grand-mère à la Baie Sainte-Marie, en Nouvelle-Écosse. Cette expédition lui permettra de prendre conscience de la chance qu’elle a, et de mettre en perspective ses petits chagrins.

Et surtout, une idée va germer, qui rendra ses parents très fiers et fera d’Océanne une partenaire dans l’entreprise familale ! 

The Good Idea!

Océanne would love to have a swimming pool, or travel by plane like her new friend... But Océanne’s parents are farmers who sell their produce at a local market. It doesn’t bring in much money and it requires a lot of work! The family still takes a vacation so that Océanne can see her great-grandmother again in St.  Mary’s Bay, Nova Scotia. The trip will allow her to realise how lucky she is, and to put her small sorrows into perspective. 

An idea buds that will make her parents very proud and make Océanne a partner in the family business!
