Les toasts au ketchup, les pouch de hockey malodorantes 
et les allers-retours à l’aréna sont chose du passé. Du moins 
pour Mélanie, mère de Malcom, ancien attaquant Midget 
AAA des Albatros de Rivière-du-Loup. Celui-ci se consacre 
maintenant à ses études en droit. Après la quinzaine de 
joueurs qu’elle a hébergé au fil des ans, Mélanie a sans 
doute mérité un peu de calme ! Mais voilà que le camp 
d’entrainement des Albatros est sur le point de commencer, 
et deux jeunes recrues n’ont toujours pas de pension ! Et si 
Mélanie reprenait du service, avec non pas un, mais deux 
jeunes joueurs de hockey ? L’année sera mouvementée tant 
sur la patinoire que dans la vie de Laurent et Mathieu.

Hockey and Baseball Mustard

Ketchup toast, smelly hockey pouches and trips to 
the arena are a thing of the past. At least for Melanie, 
mother of Malcolm, former Midget AAA forward for the 
Rivière-du-Loup Albatros. He is now devoting himself to 
his law studies. After the fifteen or so players she has 
taken in over the years, Mélanie probably deserved a 
bit of peace and quiet! But now the Albatros training 
camp is about to start, and two young recruits still don’t 
have a place to stay! So what if Mélanie was back in 
action, with not one but two young hockey players? It’s 
going to be an eventful year both on the ice and in the 
lives of Laurent and Mathieu.
