Éditions Bouton d’or Acadie is launching a project titled “Viens lire l’Acadie!” (“Come Read Acadie!”), which aims to make Acadian youth literature more well-known in Québec by inviting Québec bookstore owners, librarians, and readers to travel through literary Acadie. Throughout the year, Bouton d’or Acadie will ensure greater visibility for its authors and illustrators by participating in seven targeted book fairs in various regions of Québec: Outaouais (February), Trois-Rivières (March), Québec (April), Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean (October), Estrie (October), Rimouski (November), and Montréal (November). For this project, Bouton d’or Acadie has the financial support of the Canada Council for the Arts through the Market Access Strategy for Official Language Minority Communities Fund.

The map “Viens lire l’Acadie !” (“Come Read Acadie!”) is a pamphlet displaying twenty books published by Bouton d’or Acadie according to the birthplace of their creator(s) and/or the theme of the book. Click on the image to zoom in.
